U.S. stock futures were higher this morning, with the Dow Jones futures gaining around 100 points on Thursday.
Shares of Ford Motor Company F fell sharply in today's pre-market trading after the company said that it expects $5 billion to $5.5 billion in losses in its EV segment this year, in line with the loss recorded last year.
Ford said it sees full-year 2025 adjusted EBIT in a range of $7 billion to $8.5 billion, adjusted free cash flow in a range of $3.5 billion to $4.5 billion, and capital spending in a range of $8 billion to $9 billion.
Meanwhile, Ford reported upbeat fourth-quarter financial results on Wednesday.
Ford Motor shares dipped 6.1% to $9.40 in the pre-market trading session.

- SunCar Technology Group Inc. SDA fell 18.3% to $6.90 in pre-market trading after the company reported the pricing of $50 million follow-on public offering of class a ordinary shares.
- Symbotic Inc. SYM fell 16.6% to $25.80 in pre-market trading. Symbotic reported quarterly losses of three cents per share which missed the analyst consensus estimate for losses of two cents. Quarterly revenue of $486.69 million also missed the analyst consensus estimate of $490.98 million.
- Mach Natural Resources LP MNR declined 6.9% to $16.00 in pre-market trading as the company announced the launch of 12 million common unit offering.
- Mineralys Therapeutics, Inc. MLYS fell 5.5% to $9.70 in pre-market trading. Mineralys Therapeutics will report its financial results from the fourth quarter, before the opening bell on Wednesday, Feb. 12.
- Hologic, Inc. HOLX slipped 4.9% to $69.22 in pre-market trading following quarterly results.
- QUALCOMM Incorporated QCOM fell 4.7% to $167.50 in pre-market trading following first-quarter results.
- Arm Holdings plc ARM fell 4.2% to $166.06 in pre-market trading. Arm Holdings reported better-than-expected third-quarter financial results for fiscal year 2025 after the market closed on Wednesday. Arm said it expects fourth-quarter revenue of $1.175 billion to $1.275 billion. The company anticipates fourth-quarter adjusted earnings of 48 cents to 56 cents per share. The company also narrowed its full-year guidance.
